Alice Petrossian, a lifelong educator, served Pasadena and Glendale Unified School Districts as Deputy and Assistant Superintendent and in various leadership positions. Alice was appointed to numerous state boards and commissions by four California Governors. She served as Chair of the California Commission for Teacher Credentialing, President of the California Community Colleges Board of Governors, and Trustee of the California State University System. Alice was elected president by the 18,000-member California School Administrators Association. For 20 years, Alice was an Adjust Professor of Educational Administration at California State University. She has received numerous awards and recognition from local, state, and federal officials and organizations. Alice is an active volunteer in the Armenian community, including serving on the boards of Teach for Armenia, Armenian International Woman’s Association, United World Colleges, Dilijan, and Chair of the ANCA Western Region Education Committee. Alice’s passion and priority is excellence in education for all students in Armenia.
