Dr. Anna Hovakimyan is an Associate Professor at the Department of Programming and Information Technologies at YSU, head of the Department of Programming and Information Technologies at Ijevan branch of YSU, and an Associate Professor at the Russian-Armenian University. In 1991, she received her Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences at Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Mathematical Machines. She teaches computer science and programming, data structures and algorithms, databases, machine learning, data science, and software system testing methods. The range of scientific interests covers artificial intelligence, IoT programming, evolutionary programming, fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic, image processing and recognition, formal models and methods for software testing, and Semantic Web. She has more than 60 scientific articles and abstracts, and two textbooks. She participated in several grant programs.
