Ari Libarikian is a Senior Partner in McKinsey’s NY office who leads Leap by McKinsey globally,

McKinsey’s global business building practice, and leads McKinsey’s Digital practice in North America.

In his Digital role, he helps organizations develop and implement holistic and well-structured approaches

to growth and transformation through the use of technology, data, and analytics. In his Leap role, he

supports clients’ growth through new business-building, combining the experimental nature of start-ups

with the operational excellence of corporates to create strong, digital businesses.

Some examples of his recent client work include the following:

• Helping a leading hospitality player launch and scale a new digital business

• Supporting a life insurer develop and implement an end-to-end digital transformation program of

its core business

• Helping an industrials company build and scale a SaaS business

• Supporting a Consumer organization build a digital platform-based business

Ari also serves on McKinsey’s global committee that recommends senior partner elections.

Previously, Ari led the McKinsey’s digital practice in insurance, helping clients capture significant value

through technology and data, as well as the Firm’s digital practice in the Northeast.

In addition to his work with McKinsey, Ari serves on the board the Armenian General Benevolent Union

(AGBU), and holds a Masters of Science from MIT, and a Bachelors of Engineering from McGill

University.
